Will Jackson

Printed and framed by Will Jackson of Seattle as a gift to his Aunt June in Virginia.

“My mom always said ‘to have a friend, be one’- A few years ago, I took this picture that really shows their love for each other.”

“My mom always said ‘to have a friend, be one.’ She met June at a party in Richmond, Virginia in 1949—June was in tears with morning sickness and Mom, also pregnant, came to her aid—and they stayed best friends until Mom died a year and half ago. Although June soon moved to New Jersey, then Maryland and finally back to coastal Virginia, she and Mom visited often, vacationed together, and stayed close through thick and thin for 64 years.

They consoled each other during tough times, loved parties, (the wilder the better – at a mid-‘60s beach bash, they swapped dresses to confuse one of June’s beaus) and were ultimate shopping buddies. Most of all they made each other laugh.

Printed and framed by Dawn Merydith, Seattle, for her mom, sister and sister-in-law

“I had several framed copies made. Without Sworl, I would never have sent that gift to everyone—I would have put it off and put it off.  They loved them! Such great reminders of a special time together.”

“For the last eight years, my mother, who’s fifth from the left in the photo, has taken my family to Mexico. This year we went to the wonderful Sandos Caracol Eco Resort and Spa on the Mayan Riviera, complete with a recycling and composting program, wild monkeys, and a spay and neuter program for feral cats.

“On each trip, we try to take a group picture. On this very hot day, we were all in the pool together—except for my brother-in-law, who took the photo. You can see how many women are in the family!

Frame Family Vacation Photos

Printed and framed by Matt Wilkins, Seattle, WA, for himself.

“I have been trying to cross this framing project off my to-do list for a year. It’s finally done! Sworl is really easy to use—I especially love paying with a scan of my credit card so I don’t have to type in the number.”

“I had a picture of my grandparents on the upper right of the wall—William and Virginia Davis—and I wanted to add some photos of other family members. I had digital files that my sister had scanned and so I started with my mom, Theresa Marie Davis and dad, Robert Anthony Wilkins on their wedding day. They’re each on the left of the photos, while the bridesmaid and best man are on the right. That was 1968. I was born the next year. At the upper left is a picture of my grandfather’s parents William and Edna Davis around 1940.”

My sister just found some pics of my grandmother’s parents, so I’ll probably be ordering those in the near future.”

Printed and framed by Monika Brzeski, Seattle, WA, as a gift for her mother, Barb.

“I tend to just keep photos on my phone and rarely print or frame them, so if it weren’t for Sworl’s ‘one-stop shop’ convenience, my mother wouldn’t have it.”

“I first saw my sister-in-law’s photo of their three Shih Tzus on Facebook. The dogs are siblings and live in Toronto with my brother George and his wife Rae. There’s Lola, the boss of everybody, Custard, the big marshmallow, and easy-breezy Cubby. My mother—their  “Grandma Barb”—was coming to visit me and I decided to use Sworl to frame the photo as a gift for her.  She loved it. She already had my dog photos and now she has one of theirs. I tend to just keep photos on my phone and rarely print or frame them, so if it weren’t for Sworl’s ‘one-stop shop’ convenience, my mother wouldn’t have it. Her litter is now complete!”
